2011 - Keith Urban performs "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me" at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, before the Super Bowl, a 31-25 Green Bay Packers win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Paul Overstreet is in the stands.

2010 - Alan Jackson surprises Zac Brown at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena with a 1966 Cadillac El Dorado convertible, a gift of thanks for including him on "As She's Walking Away".

George Jones and Glen Campbell will be honored with lifetime achievement awards next year. During a special ceremony on Feb. 11 — one day before the 2012 Grammy Awards, which will air on CBS — their contributions will be acknowledged by the Recording Academy in front of five other honorees and an invitation only crowd.

2010 - Josh and Jennifer Turner have their third son, Crawford Marion Turner, in Nashville.

2008 - George Jones is celebrated during the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C., along with Barbra Streisand, Morgan Freeman and two members of The Who.

Back in September, the Grand Ol Opry in Nashville hosted an 80th birthday party for George Jones. The event featured performances by Joe Diffie, Jamey Johnson, and the Oak Ridge Boys. One of my favorites from the night was when Alan Jackson and Lee Ann Womack teamed up for 'Golden Ring'. Check out the video after the jump.

2005 - Keith Urban's "Better Life" video debuts on CMT.

2008 - Taylor Swift's "Love Story" video debuts on CMT.

2010 - Charley Pride is part of an 18-person investor group headed by Nolan Ryan that buys the Texas Rangers baseball team for $593 million at auction in Fort Worth.

2009 - Steel Magnolia is introduced on the season premiere of CMT's competition "Can You Duet." Judges for the season include Big Kenny, Naomi Judd and Big Machine executive Scott Borchetta.
