UPDATED (10/5/16 - 6:45pm): Mrs. Lawasa Thomas has been located safe and unharmed thank to our media partners and their outreach. A passerby who had seen the story spotted her in Lufkin and waited with her while calling Lufkin PD. Mrs. Thomas has been reunited with her family.
