The construction project at the A&NR Railroad Bridge on North Timberland Drive is continuing along with other projects throughout the nine-county Lufkin District that are scheduled for work and maintenance in the coming week.
The Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC) College of Nursing and the Angelina College (AC) Associate Degree in Nursing Program (ADN) in Lufkin formalized a partnership today that will create new opportunities for East Texas nurses interested in advancing their nursing education. The collaboration will ultimately lead to better outcomes for patients across the state.
On Thursday, February 11, the Nacogdoches ISD Superintendent’s Student Advisory Board read to kindergarten students at Brooks-Quinn-Jones Elementary.
Students in the advisory board are nominated by their school’s principal or staff and are invited at the end of each school year to become a member.
