Cody Teel started the day at the San Antonio Xtreme Bulls competition where he rode two bulls. Then he made the long trip to Lufkin just in time to compete in the Lufkin CBR Bull Bash.
The KICKS 105 CBR Bull Bash is coming to Expo Center in Lufkin on Saturday, February 22nd and the bull riders are already coming to town. In fact, Robson 'Spiderman' Aragao from Brazil will be coming out to a KICKS 105 broadcast at Cavenders in Lufkin this Saturday.
This will be the 25th year of the KICKS 105 CBR Bull Bash, and we wanted to do something a little different to celebrate our silver anniversary. We're giving you the opportunity to open the event by singing the National Anthem.
About 6 weeks ago, Trey Benton from Rock Island, TX was seriously injured riding a bull in Fort Worth. He had facial reconstructive surgery due to some fractures and had to go back under the scalpel due to infections. He was cleared by the doctor to start riding again just a couple of days before the CBR Bull Bash in Lufkin, and he made the most of it.
Twenty-four of some of the best bull riders in the world will be coming to Lufkin Saturday night as Championship Bull Riding returns for the annual KICKS 105 CBR Bull Bash. And for the first time in the 24 year history of the Bull Bash, the all-new '8-second format' will be used.
