Mutton Busters Chosen for the Angelina Benefit Rodeo

This Wednesday through Friday, a total of 36 girls and boys will try their hand at the KICKS 105 Mutton Bustin' Championships at the Angelina Benefit Rodeo. Each night, 12 riders will be judged on how long they can stay on the back of a sheep. The top 4 riders each night will make it back for the championship round on Saturday.

The Angelina Benefit Rodeo is coming April 24th-27th at the George H Henderson Jr Expo Center in Lufkin. Year in and year out, this is one of the nation's best rodeos, in fact, it made the top five at the NFR awards ceremony in December.

Night number one of the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show gets underway tonight at the Expo Center.

Around 7 tonight, we'll have the first round of mutton bustin' - which in case you didn't know, is a bunch of youngsters trying their best to hold on for dear life on the back of a sheep.
