Well it sure didn’t take long for Carrie Underwood to pick up where she left off now that she has released new music to country radio. The powerhouse vocalist is definitely having a “good” week as her new single ‘Good Girl’ tops the Billboard Digital Country Songs chart. The track has even recently been named the most-added song to country radio as of late.

For years Kelly Clarkson‘s dalliance in country music has been little more than a playful tease. She shows up from time to time, suggesting that she’d consider crossing over at some point but then disappears. The emergence of a countrified version of her recent hit ‘Mr. Know it All’ could indicate she’s finally ready to make the next move.

Miranda Lambert says one song on her new album reduced her and husband Blake Shelton to tears. The couple co-wrote ‘Over You’ about the death of Shelton’s brother who was killed in a car crash in 1990. It’s the second of five songs Lambert is previewing from her new ‘Four the Record’ album.

Miranda Lambert‘s upcoming release, ‘Four the Record,’ already has one hit single in ‘Baggage Claim’ and the album won’t even reach stores until November. But that doesn’t mean she can’t already be thinking about the set’s second single — or share a potential contender with fans at a recent show.
