overcoming handicaps

In 2010, osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer, claimed the right leg of Evan Ruggiero.  However, it didn't take his spirit, his drive, and his ability to dance...tap dance.  Check out this amazing video.

His name is Dergin Tokmak and as a child he contracted polio, which is a virus that attacks the nerves that control muscle function. He lost full control of his legs and was basically confined to a wheel chair or crutches.  But Tokmak has a determination that is amazing, and he has used that will to become a performer for Cirque du Soleil.
