Amish Teen Leads Police on Ridiculous Horse and Buggy Chase

Police in Conewango, New York tried to pull 17-year old Lewis D. Hostetler over on Monday, after they noticed he was operating his horse and buggy with a open container of beer in hand.

At which point the Amish teen showed a great deal of faith in his horse and led the police on a rare medium-speed horse and buggy chase.

Here's the set up:

A man steals a computer from the local Walmart, punches an employee who tries to stop him, and he speeds away in a Jeep.

Police then catch up to him and the man ends up getting tasered, but then he steals the police car, and ends up wrecking the squad car after a high speed chase.

The dashboard video from a Lufkin Police squad car shows a portion of multiple Angelina County agencies' chase of a van driven by Robert Jones of Houston, according to Lufkin Police spokesman Det. JB Smith, who released the video Friday.
