Severe Storms, Hail, Tornados Possible in East Texas with Approaching Cold Front

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch effective until 7 p.m. for parts of East Texas on this Veteran's Day.
As the afternoon progresses, widespread showers and thunderstorms should start popping up across East Texas. Some of these storms could get to severe levels.
Some parts of East Texas are getting a little break from the heat this evening as storms, severe in some cases, are moving into Nacogdoches and Shelby Counties.

Well, the good news is that we haven't had any tornado warnings issued in Texas since before 7pm, but a severe thunderstorm watch is in place for Angelina, Nacogdoches, Shelby, Tyler, Cherokee, Rusk, Sabine, Panola, Newton, Jasper, and San Augustine counties until 3am. Another severe thunderstorm watch is in place until 1am for Polk, Trinity, and Houston counties.
