After a month of higher than normal temperatures and hardly any rainfall, it looks like the weather is starting to change. Scattered showers and storms have dotted portions of the Pineywoods over the past few days and more is on the way.
The remnants of Bill are raining down on East Texas...hard! As of 9:30 this morning, 2-3 inches of rain has already fallen in areas near Lake Livingston, Apple Springs, Hudson, and Pollok, and more is on the way.
A very dangerous situation looks to be brewing across the eastern half of Texas for this Memorial Day afternoon and night. Almost all of Deep East Texas is under a tornado watch until 10 this evening. Tyler, Jasper, and Sabine counties are not included at this time.
