Wildfires have been devastating the state since the weekend, but the biggest and most destructive fire has been the one in Bastrop County near Austin.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has released a video that documents some behind the scenes action and facts...what really amazes me is how fast the fire travels in the last few seconds of the video...check it out after the jump.

Firefighters, members of the Texas Forest Service, and numerous volunteers were able to get the upper hand this weekend on many wildfires across our state, however, Mother Nature has another dose of dry, windy weather set for Tuesday.

Although some rains have fallen across parts of the state and more is expected in parts of East and Northeast Texas through Tuesday, Texas remains a tinderbox.
