The activity around area campuses has already started as teachers and school employees make ready for the upcoming school year.  As teachers get their classrooms ready for students, one thing is pretty much a certainty, teachers are spending their own money for various needs.  In fact, in a recent report, it's estimated that teachers, on average, will spend nearly $500 out of pocket throughout the school year for school supplies and job-related needs.  And we're talking money that is never reported to school administration so there is no reimbursement.
