Teenagers Charged with Shoplifting at Several Lufkin Mall Stores

Women's Elmo panties, Beanie Babies, stuffed animals, and cheap costume jewelry, that's just a few of the things that these two Louisiana women are charged with shoplifting from stores inside Lufkin Mall.

Charlotte Moses (19) of Florien and Megan Faust (17) of Many allegedly took these items while in town Friday afternoon.  They are both charged with theft of property with a total value between $50-$500.

I'm not sure of the reasoning to try to take items such as these.  Was there really a need for them?  Or is it just the 'thrill' of stealing...whatever that means.  Maybe they figured there wouldn't be a big fuss since these were such low ticket items.

Regardless, here's hoping this setback will be a major wake up call for these ladies and they avoid instances like this in the future.
