Texas Mom Arrested for Allowing Her Kids to Play Outside (Video)

I remember as a child spending an entire day playing in the woods and fields near my home.  Coming home only to eat a few times during the day.  I'm not sure how I would feel if the police showed up to arrest my parents for allowing that.

La Porte is pretty close to home but this story seems a world away.  Since when is play time "child endangerment"?
