Never accuse Vanessa DeLeon of not being able to multitask.  The Pasadena, Texas woman realized Thursday morning that she was going into labor, but she still wanted to get her 4-year-old son registered for pre-K.

According to a report from KHOU, Deleon had plans to drive herself to the hospital but she knew that class space was filling up at Fisher Elementary in Pasadena and she wanted to make sure that her son would be able to attend school there.  DeLeon was just planning on dropping off the application at the school and then heading to the hospital, but the labor pains intensified before she made it out the front doors of the school.

That's when a school nurse went into action.  The original intent was to make DeLeon comfortable until she could be transported to the hospital, but her baby had other plans.  A nurse and police officer helped deliver Geovanni Ezekiel DeLeon - 6 pounds, 3 ounces.  The baby was wrapped in school T-shirts since no towels were available.

Mom and Geovanni are doing just fine.
