This year, the Nacogdoches Film Festival expands to three days, kicking off with a VIP party in charming downtown Nacogdoches. From there, a VIP bus will take guests to the intimate Lamp-Lite Playhouse to view Fridays line-up. Q&A will follow with refreshments being offered in its lobby. The bus will return to the downtown Charles Bright Visitor Center. All film-goers are invited to join the Friday night parties at Liberty Bell, Frogs, and more.

Saturday and Sunday events will be presented on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University. Feature and documentary showings, film panels, competitions and special guests are planned for the event.

Host hotel, Holiday Inn Express is sponsoring its Party in the Pit Saturday Night. Admission is free to all of Holiday Inn guests and VIP ticket holders. This is your chance to meet special film guests. Doors open at 8 p.m. Enjoy the warmth of an outdoor fire pit, live music to sway to and libations offered by a full-service cash bar. Junk Food Junkies in its vintage airstream will be serving up some grub. Event t-shirts, posters, and prize drawings will all be a part of this after-hours party.

Film festival packages are available for overnight guests. Whether in-town or out-of-town, we hope you will join us at the Holiday Inn Express for the entire weekend. This is your one-stop-shop for VIP tickets, special room rates, and automatic entry into our Party in the Pit prize drawings.

Celebrities, parties, prizes, a much more. We're just thankful there's something cool happening in our own backyard.
