Today in 2003, the Dixie Chicks took another song to the top of the charts … “Travelin’ Soldier” became their seventh Billboard number one song.

Lonestar learned that they had scored another #1 song  when their single “Smile” topped the chart today in 2000.

And on this day in 1995, George Strait’s “You Can’t Make A Heart Love Somebody” spent one week at #1.
