Truck Drives Through Lufkin Carl’s Jr.
At approximately 4:00 this afternoon, a two-car accident closed the entrance and drive-thru of the Carl's Jr. at the intersection of Timberland Drive and South First St.
Eyewitnesses report a silver Oldsmobile drive into the passenger side door of a white Chevrolet pickup truck. The truck was sent up over the curb and the drive-thru entrance sign, ending it's offroad adventure nose-first in the corner of the Carl's Jr.
At this time, it's tough to say whether or not the drive-thru lane will reopen in time for dinner.
No injuries were reported at the scene, but several fenders were bent. Initial reports say that no burgers were harmed.
