Turkey Trot Raises Funds for Burley Primary in Lufkin [PHOTOS]

Friday morning students at Burley Primary in Lufkin ran for a purpose.  Each of the different grades ran about a mile with each of the top finishers getting trophies and medals. 

However, everyone comes out a winner as one of the main goals of the event is to make it top of mind awareness for the students, their parents, teachers and everyone involved that keeping a healthy lifestyle is extremely important.  The Turkey Trot is also one of the largest fundraisers of the year for Burley Primary.
