Several considerations went into the methodology of which schools are most affordable and provide the best value, such as affordable tuition and fees, and alumni who earn top dollar immediately after graduation. Three schools from Texas received recognition with one of those schools receiving top 5 honors.
Sam Houston State University in Huntsville was ranked at number 4 in the nation with an average online net price of just over $7700 and average start up graduate pay of over $40,000.
Stephen F Austin State University in Nacogdoches was ranked at number 29 nationwide with an average online net price of about $11,500 and start up graduate pay of just over $40K.
The only other Texas school to make the top 54 was Lamar University in Beaumont which ranked in at number 36.
