We must be getting close to Spring because it seems that every time we have a chance of rain, a chance of severe weather goes right along with it.  This week, the Pineywoods could be seeing two rounds of bad weather.

As the atmosphere becomes more unstable this afternoon, and with the approach of a cold front, we'll be seeing the development of some storms across the area this afternoon and tonight.  In southern Arkansas, northern Louisiana, and extreme East Texas, a few of those storms could become severe with damaging winds and isolated tornadoes.  But, by Tuesday mid-day, we should start to have much better weather.

Then, Wednesday night through Thursday evening, an even stronger storm system is expected to bring a better chance of severe storms into the area.
