TxDOT Announces Changes at the Loop 287/Hwy 59 Interchange

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is advising motorists to be cautious near Loop 287/US 59 North as contractors close and begin today removing the cloverleaf exit/entry ramp. 

Motorists can continue on the loop to the next exit ramp where they will make a U-shaped turnaround beneath the loop and go back northbound. The right hand lanes will go north toward Nacogdoches and the left hand lane will come up to a stop sign where motorists can either turn south onto North Timberland Drive or go straight back onto the loop toward the Ellen Trout Zoo.  Please be aware that the stop sign is only one way. North/Southbound cross-traffic on Highway 59 at the stop sign is not required to stop.
