Can SFA compete with the 'big schools'?  Absolutely!  In fact, as of this writing we are whipping up on schools like Arizona, Oregon, West Virginia, and Oklahoma.

Every year, the Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge picks 48 NCAA Division 1 basketball coaches to take part in this competition.  The premise is simple: the coaches that receive the most votes continue to move on to the next rounds until ultimately a champion is crowned and Infiniti awards $100,000 to that coach's charity of choice.

This is the 2nd year that Coach Brad Underwood of SFA has taken part.  Last year, he made it to the 3rd round (sweet sixteen) and earned a $10,000 check for the Nacogdoches United Way.  This year, we're aiming for the top spot.  Coach Underwood has already advanced to the 3rd round again this year and currently he sits in third place.  Only the coaches from Michigan and Ohio State have more votes.

Underwood must finish in the top four in voting as of midnight on February 29th in order to advance to the 4th and final round.  If he does that, the Nacogdoches United Way will be guaranteed a $15,000 payout, but why stop there?  Let's go for the big prize and show the bigger schools and metros what SFA and East Texas are all about!  You can vote once a day and it only takes seconds.
