Carson Wentz— It is time to believe in the rookie. What can you say negative about the kid? Is it the no INT’s in the first three games of his career or that he has completed 65 percent of his passes? This kid as looked good and he goes against a favorable matchup against the Lions in Detroit. Over the three games Carson has played he has looked good throwing 5 TDs and close to 800 yards, with of course the zero interceptions. The Detroit Lions have allowed almost 1000 yards and eight TD passes in the last three games, which two of the QBs were Marcus Mariota and Brian Hoyer. If you have Russell Wilson or Drew Brees sitting on a bye this week, pick up and start the old ND state Bison.

Brian Hoyer— What if I told you at the start of the season that going into Week 5 that there was a quarterback that had not turned the ball over yet? Who would you pick? Aaron Rodgers? Russell Wilson? I’m pretty sure that no one had Brian Hoyer. Maybe not the more glamorous spot start, but Hoyer does come up in a Week 5 matchup that is against a weak Colts defense. After two full starts, Hoyer has 4 TDs and zero INTs. Every one is waiting for that meltdown game that Hoyer always seems to have, so if you are in a bye week dilemma, why not use him when he is..um..well..hot?
