Here are my picks for your running back Waiver Wire in week 5.

Terrance West—After West looked a lot better than Justin Forsett over the first three weeks of the season, without having close to as many snaps, West got the start against the Raiders in week 4 with Forsett being benched as a healthy scratch. Now the news this morning helps West’s stock as Justin Forsett was released by the Ravens. West had 113 yards on 21 carries which equals a 5.4 YPC which is a vast upgrade from the duo’s 3.4 YPC in weeks 1-3. Although, in my last article I wrote about Kenneth Dixon being a great long term, if you are in need for a bye replacement or injury replacement, go with West.

Darren Sproles—Sproles in coming fresh of a bye in week 4, and he is got a good matchup against the Lions. Sproles, no matter who is the starting running back, always gets his share of the touches. He is electric and has a very decent floor when it comes to volume. This game has all the feel of being a Sproles-heavy game script, and he could be an electric start and will make you feel like a genius if you start him. He SHOULD NOT BE ON ANY WAIVER WIRES, and should be a good addition to your fantasy team, especially with Ryan Mathews being banged up at the moment.
