We're into the 2nd week of Friday night football across East Texas, and it's time to recognize some more stars of area drill teams.

The stars of the week for the Panther Pride of Lufkin High School were:

  • Jakale- She has so much energy and loves to dance and perform. She is a senior and we love having her energy and talent on our team.
  • Destiny- She is such a hard worker and has a positive attitude. Destiny is a new senior but you would never know it, she is always prepared and loves panther Pride .

For the Huntington Highsteppers, this week we will recognize our Lieutenants!

    • Juniors Sadie Felts, Jenna Hughes and Senior Kennady Martin have vital roles for our team on a daily basis! Along with our other officers, they are in charge of music and props, reteaching routines learned at camp, greeting teammates as they arrive each morning, and much more! Practices run smoothly with their dedication and leadership!
