Over the course of the next several weeks, various locations of Whataburger in the Deep East Texas area will be helping local non-profit organizations.  Today, that organization is the Lufkin Dream Center

This evening (3/12) from 5-8 p.m., the Whataburger located at Highway 94 (Frank Street) and the West Loop in Lufkin will be donating 25% of their sales to the Lufkin Dream Center.  So, not only can you get something delicious for your family, like a Patty Melt, A-1 Thick and Hearty Burger, Chop House Cheddar Burger, or...(oops, sorry, can you tell I really like Whataburger), but you'll be supporting a great organization.

The Lufkin Dream Center believes that in order for someone to have the best chance of breaking their terrible cycle of addiction, God must be introduced or re-introduced into their lives.  Part of their mission statement is "To restore hope and equip people to discover their God–given dreams and talents so they may reach their maximum potential while their mental, physical and spiritual needs are met."

It's so wonderful that the folks at the Lufkin Dream Center are putting God's love and vision into action.

You can help and enjoy some great food as well.  We will have updated stories over the next several weeks highlighting other groups that Whataburger will be helping.
