In addition to having some of the best burgers you have ever eaten (like the Patty Melt, my favorite), Whataburger makes it their mission to give back to the East Texas community.

This evening, Whataburger once again puts that mission into action.

Between 5 and 8 p.m., customers who donate a minimum of two canned goods will receive a free Whataburger, (one burger per person, please).  This offer will be happening at the Whataburger near West Frank Avenue in Lufkin, Whataburger on North Street in Nacogdoches, and the Whataburger in Center.  Tents will be set up outside for the collection of the canned goods and that's where the cards for the free Whataburgers will take place.  You may use your card immediately or come back at another time to get  your free burger.

The canned goods will help CISC in Lufkin, Harvest House in Nacogdoches, and Tri-Counties Food Bank in Center.

Next Wednesday, December 16th, 20% of Whataburger's sales from 5-8 p.m. will be donated to local food banks.  This will be taking place at all 41 East Texas Whataburger locations.
