Whataburger Offering Free Hamburgers for Food Donations Today

Most times when you take a look at the marquee sign in front of an area Whataburger it's promoting a night of fundraising for an East Texas group or organization.

The folks at Whataburger have outdone themselves. 

Today (12/10) from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m., the Whataburger locations on Highway 94 in Lufkin and on North Street in Nacogdoches are offering free burgers in exchange for canned food items.  Just bring in two canned food items and you'll receive a free burger.  Only one burger per person and you must be present to claim your free burger.

All food collected will be distributed to C.I.S.C in Lufkin and to Harvest House in Nacogdoches.
