Whataburger to Host Pep Rally, Benefit for Lufkin All Stars
The eyes of East Texas, and for that matter, the eyes of a nationwide TV audience, intently and nervously watched over the past few days as the Lufkin Little League All Stars laid claim to the Southwest Championship.
This means that Lufkin will be just one of nine teams representing various U.S. regions at the Little League World Series in Pennsylvania next week.
This is something worth celebrating and you'll have that opportunity this evening (Thursday) at the Whataburger located next to Walmart in Lufkin. The teams and managers will be on hand, plus the KICKS 105 Road Show will be there. Plus, 100% of all sales from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. will go support the Lufkin team and their families.
