What’s The Record For Most Miles Ever Put On A Car?
Gas prices are skyrocketing. The economy is still not in the best shape.
So, most everyone I know is trying find ways to make their dollar go farther. One way is to keep your car longer before trading it in for a new vehicle.
If you keep your engine in great shape, you should be able to get well over 100,000 miles on your car...but what's the record?
Would you believe nearly 3 million miles!!
That means the odometer has turned 100,000 miles nearly 30 times!
The car is a 44 year old Volvo that belongs to Irv Gordon of New York City, which was brought to light in a recent article by USA Today -- 40 years without a car payment -- Man!! That must be nice.
Soooo....I wonder who has the record in East Texas...do you think it's a Chevy...Ford...foreign make?
If you have (or have had) a vehicle that has posted big numbers on the odometer, let us know how many and the make and model in the comment section.
