Who Will Win American Idol Season 10 Tonight? [VIDEO]
After yesterday’s spectacular performances from both American Idol finalists, America had a tough decision to make between voting for Scotty McCreery or Lauren Alaina Tuesday night.
Both competitors sang three songs each -the first round was all about their favorite past song from this season, the second was a song from their own idols and the final round was an original single selected by mentor Jimmy Iodine that will become the winner’s first official release.
Scotty, the blue-eyed 17-year-old from Garner, NC, chose the songs -
1. ‘Gone’ by Montgormery Gentry
2. ‘Check Yes or No’ by George Straight
3. ‘I Love You This Big’ – original song

Lauren, the 16-year-old from Rossville, GA, who reportedly lost her voice during the final rehearsals, didn’t let laryngitis stop her from rocking out in her final performances- stunning the judges and the audience alike. The three songs she chose were -
1. ‘Flat On The Floor’ by Carrie Underwood
2. ‘Maybe It Was Memphis’ by Pam Tillis
3. ‘Like My Mother Does’ -original song
