We're all about the protein here. And, let me clarify: you probably don't want to go out and buy the meat directly for a gift. Consider getting a gift card to a meat market, like Massingill's in Lufkin. Give your loved ones the freedom to choose their own steak.

So, yes, it might be a bit pricey. However, I'm willing to bet that you have at least one family member that wouldn't mind getting a lifetime hunting license. I know that I wouldn't mind it.
