Amber Alert Issued for Abducted East Texas Boy
An Amber Alert has been issued for a young boy who authorities believe was abducted Sunday, November 20 in east Texas.
The Smith County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in their search for Zachariah Sutton. He is described as a 5-year-old black male. He is 3 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 60 pounds. Zachariah has black hair and brown eyes.
The child was last seen around 11 am on Sunday, November 20 in the 23400 Block of FM 838 in Overton, Texas.
Sutton was last seen wearing a gray jumpsuit along with black and white tennis shoes.
Police are also searching for Pamela Medlock who they believe is involved in the abduction of Zachariah Sutton. Medlock is described as a black female who is 5 feet, 6 inches tall. She weighs approximately 135 pounds and she has brown hair and brown eyes. Medlock was last seen wearing a maroon plaid jacket and khaki pants.
The suspect is believed to be driving a dark green Jeep Wrangler. It is unknown what the license plate number may be. Medlock was also last seen in Overton, Texas.
Law enforcement officials believe Zachariah Sutton to be in grave or immediate danger. If you have any information regarding this abduction, or if you happen to see either the suspect, victim or suspect's vehicle, you are asked to immediately call the Smith County Sheriff's Office at 903-566-6600.
Authorities are warning the public not to approach the pair if spotted, but rather, please contact the police and let them handle the situation.
