Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Send Hometown Crowd Into a Frenzy With This Duet [Watch]
Blake Shelton took some time out of his hectic schedule for a two-night appearance at his new venue, Ole Red, in Tishomingo, Okla., and girlfriend Gwen Stefani made the night even sweeter on Feb. 10 when she joined him on stage for a duet of their song, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart."
The packed house went crazy in anticipation before Shelton brought his girlfriend up on stage, opening the introduction in typical Shelton fashion with a joke.
"She actually gave birth to twins yesterday, and she's here tonight to sing with me," he jabbed at the relentless rumors surrounding the couple, welcoming Stefani to the stage as pure excitement radiated from the crowd. The superstar couple were in their element, exuding their natural chemistry while singing the flirty track. They ended the charming performance with an affectionate kiss, and Shelton not-so-subtly wiping the remaining lipstick off his face.
Stefani was clearly having just as much fun as the fans in the audience that night, evidenced by her Snapchat story that was filled with videos of the country star's set of other numbers like "Sure Be Cool If You Did," his current single, and her personal favorite she couldn't help but sing along to, "I Lived It," along with covers of country classics including Johnny Lee's "Lookin' For Love" and "Tight Fittin' Jeans" by Conway Twitty.
Shelton and Stefani co-wrote "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," which is featured on his 2016 album, If I'm Honest. The two frequent Shelton's ranch in his home state of Oklahoma, where they spent the New Year holiday together with her three sons. Just some of the moments Stefani shared include her and Shelton ice skating together on a frozen creek and him attempting to teach her oldest son, Kingston, how to drive a truck.
