Blake Shelton lent his voice to one of Elvis Presley's biggest hits with a cover of "Suspicious Minds" during the Elvis All-Star Tribute concert that aired on NBC Sunday (Feb. 17).

Shelton largely stays true to Presley's classic, but speeds up the tempo just enough to make the song feel livelier. The country star's voice is sharp, adding his twang that gives the classic song a country edge. He spends the first half of the performance stationery behind the mic, singing and playing electric guitar before stepping away to engage with the audience.

"Oh, let our love survive / Or dry the tears from your eyes / Let's don't let a good thing die / When, honey, you know / I've never lied to you," he croons directly to the crowd of fans gathered around the in-the-round style stage that was a replica of the one Presley used in his famous 1968 Comeback Special.

Shelton not only performed "Suspicious Minds," "Trouble" and "Guitar Man," he also filled hosting duties during a special that honored the iconic star, who died in 1977.

The country star was joined by fellow country acts Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Darius Rucker, Kelsea Ballerini, Pistol Annies and Little Big Town in tipping a hat to Elvis. The show also featured crossover collaborations, with Urban teaming up with Grammy nominated rapper Post Malone on "Baby, What You Want Me to Do," while Underwood and gospel singer Yolanda Adams brought the house down with a medley of hymns recorded by Presley.

Underwood, Shelton and Rucker also participated in the all-star cover of "If I Can Dream" alongside Malone and Shawn Mendes.
