Any fan of Brett Eldredge will attest to the fact that he's a very creative guy due to his musical career alone. However, the singer has expanded dreams beyond music, stating that he hopes some day he might branch into acting as well.

“Acting is something that I’m very passionate about getting into," he tells Sounds Like Nashville. "Whenever a camera comes on, I light up. I turn into this extreme version of myself...I’m just very animated, and I think that’s a lot of what acting is."

Eldredge went so far as to say he hopes his acting dream of his will come true fairly soon. "I would say, hopefully, very soon, the next few years," he attests.

"If you find a character that you’re supposed to portray, you give every single bit of yourself to becoming that character," he explains. "And that’s what I do. Whenever I’m doing skits or anything, and I’m playing different characters, I love that kind of stuff."

While he may have plans to branch out into other artistic endeavors, the singer is currently doing just fine in the music world. Eldredge is wrapping the year riding high on praise for his deluxe edition of his 2016 Christmas album Glow, which adds five new songs to the original including "Silver Bells," "A Holly Jolly Christmas" and "Do You Hear What I Hear?"
