Carrie Underwood, Joan Jett and 13 NFL football players are part of the new Sunday Night Football open for NBC this season. A nearly two-minute-long preview was released on Monday (Aug. 26).

This behind-the-scenes video mixes shots from the video shoot at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium with interview footage with Underwood and a few candid shots of her palling around with Jett, a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer with whom the country singer paired up recently for the CMA Music Festival broadcast.

After a one-year deviation, Underwood and the NFL on NBC have brought back "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night," the theme song for many years until they switched to "Game On" for the 2018 season. In this video, the 36-year-old says the change had to do with it being the 100th season of the NFL, and she will use any excuse she can get to work with Jett.

NFL players from the Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and more join the production. A press release points out that accounts for 31 Pro Bowl selections and four Super Bowl rings. A complete list of players is below.

The full Sunday Night Football on NBC open will be unveiled during the Sept. 8 opener between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots.
