Dinosaurs Invade Lufkin Expo Center this Weekend

The sounds coming from the George H Henderson Expo Center this weekend may cause you to think the Jurassic Age is alive and well in Lufkin. 

Saturday and Sunday, T. Rex Planet will be featured at the Expo Center.  There will be life-sized, ultra-realistic, animatronic dinosaurs; over 50 life-sized dinosaurs in all.  The event is meant to simulate what a trip through the Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous periods would have been like.

T-Rex Planet will also feature fun interactive games and exhibits, bounce houses, fossil dig and much more.  Everything will be indoors at the Expo Center.  Hours on Saturday are from 10am-9pm and on Sunday from 10am-7pm.

General admission for Adults and Children 1 and older is $15/person. It includes tour of the Dino exhibit, and to walk with our Dinosaur pet Tracey. Plus, you get unlimited access to our basketball sports game and Dinosaur Band. plus access to our Dinosaur fossils displays.

VIP admission tickets for children (ages 1-12) is $27/child and it includes everything from the general admission ticket plus a free gift,unlimited Dino scooter rides, unlimited inflatable jump house and sports games and Dinosaur rides and fossil digs & a free T-Rex Planet helium balloon.

Kids under the age of 1 get in for free.

* General admission tickets include a tour of the dinosaur exhibit only, (tickets for dinosaur rides, dinosaur inflatables and fossil dig can be purchased at the event for $5 each. There is additional cost for face painting and artificial tattoo painting.)
