Downtown Lufkin Hosts Market Days On March 16th

Downtown ... but imagine no cars, lots of vendors and great deals.

For a while Lufkin's downtown area was filled with great booths, live music, and unique vendors every month. Now it appears Market Days are a quarterly event.

With all the news of the big chain retailers closing stores, it's now more important than ever to shop locally and support the businesses created in our own backyard.

It makes it easy when these downtown events are so nice, and they always are.

Vendors line both sides of the streets with special discounts, and seeing neighbors and friends walking downtown has a magically charming quality that is hard to describe.
