East Texas Students Who Medaled at the UIL Academic State Meet

There have been a lot of UIL competitions that have been held over the past school year in Texas.  A few of those are still going on with the Texas UIL State Baseball Tournament in Austin and in Round Rock.

Over the past 9 months, I have done quite a few stories on teams and individuals who have excelled in the athletic arena.  These student/athletes have definitely deserved the recognition.  But, there's another large group of students who should also get praise for their outstanding academic accomplishments at UIL State Competitions.

These contests happened back in early May, but hey, better late than never...right?
