1915 - Record producer Owen Bradley is born in Westmoreland, Tennessee. He establishes the first recording studio on what becomes Music Row, heads Decca, and produces Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn, among others, joining the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1974.

2012 - Garth Brooks, Connie Smith and session keyboard player Hargus "Pig" Robbins officially join the Country Music Hall of Fame during a medallion ceremony in Nashville.

2009 - Brad Paisley performs at New York's prestigious Madison Square Garden for the first time. Joining him on the bill: Dierks Bentley and Jimmy Wayne.

2004 - Toby Keith receives his second quadruple-platinum album, for "Shock'n Y'all".
