The television network A&E has released a new trailer for Garth Brooks' upcoming two-part documentary, Garth Brooks: The Road I'm On. The film will capture Brooks' career from its early stages onward.

"When you step onstage, you play for them and for you," Brooks says at the beginning of the trailer. "Music inspires me, and the people that come see us play inspire me every day."

The country superstar grew up in what he describes as "the very middle of America," in a town called Yukon in the singer's home state of Oklahoma — the "perfect place to grow up." After deciding to chase his dream in Nashville, Brooks released his debut album in 1989. He dominated the country music scene in the '90s with songs such as "Friends in Low Places," "What She's Doing Now" and "The Thunder Rolls;" however, after his massive string of hit singles and albums, Brooks took a years-long break from the music industry due to difficulties in his personal life: a divorce from his first wife, Sandy Mahl, and the death of his mother.

"There is nothing I enjoy more than throwing that guitar on, walking out onstage and playing music. Nothing," says Brooks at the end of the trailer.

Garth Brooks: The Road I'm On will feature interviews with both Brooks and several country musicians, including Keith Urban, Brooks' wife Trisha Yearwood. George Strait and James Taylor. The documentary's first two-hour part will air on Nov. 24, with the second two-hour portion to follow on Nov. 25. Both pieces will air at 9PM ET.
