A Leighton Meester Country Album? [VIDEO]

I, like many others I'm sure, recognize actress Leighton Meester as the cruel but popular character, Blair Waldorf, from the hit television series Gossip Girl. It's hard to imagine her as a country girl, but based on the video below, I feel as though she fits the part perfectly!

The young actress, who stars in the movie Country Strong with Tim McGraw and Gwyneth Paltrow, talks about her new love for country music in this article from Taste of Country.

I know she's released a couple of pop songs in the past, like Somebody To Love featuring Robin Thicke, but I think she sounds better as a country artist.
