Holiday State are gearing up to release a fun new single, and they're letting Taste of Country readers hear it before anyone else in this exclusive premiere.

"Friday Feelin'" is a fun, up-tempo pop-country jam that's the perfect anthem for rolling down the windows and blaring some fun summertime music as you head out to the beach with friends. Musically, the track is a pure pop-country confection, with plenty of slick production elements to draw the listener in. Lyrically, the song doesn't try to pretend to be anything other than a good-time singalong. The payoff hook is instantly infectious; you'll be enthusiastically singing, "Ain't nothin' like this Friday feelin'" after just one listen.

The Los Angeles-based country band of brothers have been building quite a following prior to their new release. Brothers Brandon, Brett and Bryan DeLaura started the group in 2014 and released their self-titled debut EP in 2015. Holiday State have built an extensive social media following, and they've also shared stages with major acts including O-Town and Sammy Adams.

The brothers were forced to take some time off after Brett attended the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas on Oct. 1, 2017, at which a shooter opened up on the crowd from his hotel room contiguous to the concert site, killing 58 people and injuring hundreds more. They returned to their music motivated to do their best work, and traveled to Nashville in 2018 to work with Andy Sheridan, who serves as Hunter Hayes' musical director. Holiday State are slated to release a new EP in the summer, and "Friday Feelin'" is one of the new songs that will appear.

"Friday Feelin'" is set for official release on Friday (April 26), but it's currently available for pre-save via Spotify. For more information about Holiday State, visit their official website, or follow the group on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
