I Miss Looking Forward To Saturday Morning Cartoons

The Jetsons, Scooby Doo, The Flintstones...how many times did they join me for a bowl of Frosted Flakes or Apple Jacks every Saturday morning.

I realize nowadays you can see a number of these old cartoons online or on special cable channels, but the anticipation for Saturday mornings will never quite be the same.

Granted, I don't mind watching an episode or two of  Spongebob or Johnny Bravo, but where is the Ant and the Aardvark when you need them on Saturday mornings?? 

And how about a few episodes of Schoolhouse Rock?  ("I'm just a bill, yes I'm only...").

Now that I think about it more, Daffy Duck, Bugs, and Foghorn Leghorn also gave me some of my biggest childhood...okay, even adulthood laughs.    In fact, this video from Daffy Duck is one of my all-time favorites.
