(KNUE-FM) It seems like we talk about food all the time, but a large portion of that is because we have so many fantastic food and restaurant options available in Texas. You can get just about any food you want at any time of the day, and heck, you can even have it delivered to you.

But what about if you’re in a desperate situation and you don’t have food around you. While most of us will never be in a situation like that, I think it’s important to still have the knowledge and skill to get through an experience like that.

Which is why I wanted to discuss some of the bugs that you can find in Texas and if you really needed to, you could consume them. Sure, eating bugs will never be your first choice but if it’s the difference between life and death, I’m sure grabbing a handful of bugs would be an option.
