Lufkin Artist Finds Faith In Spray Paint
Local Lufkin artist, Bryant Jackson, knows that you can find inspiration anywhere. His came in the Army watching a YouTube video of an artist spray painting a toilet seat.

This skill was built brick by brick. It started small with trees and stencils, but has become the way that Jackson shows his faith and shares his art. Now he has multiple murals around downtown Lufkin that showcase his art.
Spray painting on canvas is much different than an entire wall, and he has had to push past the conventional thoughts about painting with a spray can not being an elevated art form until recently.

It's not only the finished products of his art that get recognition. The exercise of creating the art has also gained him many fans.
According to KTRE, people flock to see his style of art during public displays. Jackson loves to produce the art as much as people like to see it revealed when he removes layers of stencils used in creating things you don't think are possible with spray paint.

"I keep God First when I'm doing this kind of thing. I typically pray before I even start. For me, it's my joy, praise, and my worship," Jackson said.
