Felony Arrests In Angelina County July 14 – 20
There were 21 inmates with felony charges caught up in this snapshot of the Angelina County Jail today. They were all arrested between July 14th and 20th, put in jail, and accused of felony level crimes.
One man hit the lottery of charges when, earlier this week, Lufkin SWAT had to be called out to sort out his ongoing issues with the local police. It took them deploying two CS gas canisters for Roman Charles Taylor, 42, to come out of his home.
The Lufkin Police Department photo of the arrest shows a drenched Taylor wearing a red t-shirt and blue shorts, being held up by two or three officers. This was the culmination of a day-long harassment of the Lufkin Police Department by Taylor. The lengthy details of that stand-off can be found in this article.
