  • 1 Way Diesel Performance In Appleby Bringing Nacogdoches Area To TV
  • They will be showcasing amazing builds and their faith
  • First episode is this Wednesday on MotorTrend

I am a big fan of "Texas Metal" on MotorTrend TV. I have always thought that it was interesting, especially with the show being filmed in Houston. Watching the show and seeing familiar landmarks really endeared the show to me.

Seeing them cut up brand-new trucks and classics, resulting in custom works of art is always interesting. I am transfixed by their before and after shots, and the work that is still being done right here by hand in Texas.

Little did I know that the show was going to have a spin-off that hits even closer to home. According to Daily Sentinel, 1 Way Diesel Performance North of Nacogdoches in Appleby is getting its own spinoff of "Texas Metal" called "Texas Metal's Lifted And Loud".

Texas Metal’s Loud And Lifted Premieres This Wednesday On Motortrend

In East Texas we love our trucks, and someone has to build all those trophy-winning show-stoppers. 1 Way Diesel Performance is the place in Nacogdoches.

Bill Carlton of the original series Texas Metal recognized their worth, and they have been featured on his show many times. Now they are getting their own show.

Their first episode will prominently feature Nacogdoches in many of the shots between segments. They will be building a custom 1979 Dodge Little Red Express.

We have many different things to look forward to from the crew this season. I especially want to see them take a totaled Lamborghini and swap in a diesel engine.

Unlike other car shows on MotorTrend this one should have a lot fewer bleeped-out words. 1 Way is right there in their name and is a nod to their salvation.

I am so glad that not only the innovation of Nacogdoches, but also the culture will be featured on national television. The first episode is Wednesday, March 8, 2023 on MotorTrend TV and streaming on MotorTrend +.
